A Little Bird & A Huge Flaming Fire

I guess everyone knows about this story; the story of our beloved prophet Ibrahim (Alaihissalam).
Everyone is aware of the antagonist in the story;
The cruel and merciless king Namrud whom had ordered for our beloved prophet Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) to be burnt to ashes.

However there's another small yet profound character in the story (at least it is profound to me)

A tiny little bird. It went with all its might to put out the big flaming fire.
Everyone was saying to this little bird that it's futile and useless to put out a fire this BIG.
Everyone was telling this tiny determined little bird to quit doing this useless attempt.

Surprise!
It continued doing exactly the opposite.
SubhanAllah, this little bird kept on doing its best to put out the fire, endlessly carrying water in its tiny beak and dropped it into the fire.
The bird's answer was really an overwhelming one, "I'd have to try my best, if not, how could I face Allah knowing I hadn't done anything, let alone to the best of my ability"

Such a small creature, such a meaningful lesson.
- This tiny little bird never gives up; would you? -

Never give up in what ever good deeds that we are doing right now.
Please, never count how many good deeds we have done.
Let Allah counts it for you.
